Evan's work was showcased in an article of the most recent edition of Faux Effects World-Vol 6. He was listed in the Artist Gallery section featuring his finish carpentry and faux finishing talents. Evan crowned the center of a dining room with antique parchment and champagne mist LusterStone, framing it with wood moldings, which he finished in bronze MetalGlow over glazed with van dyke brown FauxCreme Color. Faux artist and fine finish carpenter Evan Dahlke took a boring living room and made it the showcase room of the Faux Flip. Besides working on the living room, Evan offered expert advice on "how to" apply decorative plaster to other rooms. He also helped rescue the kitchen and applied a decorative paint finish to the kitchen walls. |
Evan also supplied canvas and paints and enlisted muralist Kim Schaffer to help paint two paintings for the living room. Evan framed the paintings.
